That right there showed how much Ross sucks..
Rather pitch to him with bases loaded then throw a strike to Denorfia

That was Awful. . Runner on 3rd no outs and dont score

Castro and Schwarber had horrible ABs, terrible approach

Ross plain sucks.. 50 of 54 baserunners he has stranded now
Lester wonders where his run support is

I actually dont mind when Castro has a mental breakdown cause he usually follows it up with a few good games afterwards. ..lol...

Russell needs to do more then a weak pop up in that spot. Its the difference between us and the Cardinals. We will get there though.

I've seen it a few times this season now where Russell nearly gets picked off and then allows it to happen again the very next pitch or a couple pitches later. I'm not saying he has to played scared but come on, don't be afraid to adjust a little.

1 for 4 in stolen bases this year. He also got picked off and the Twins let it go.

This is why Baseball is hard to bet on. The Phillies with a no name vs. Wacha and they destroy the Cards. Orioles score 7 and Toronto says nope we will score 9. Its maddening sometimes.

Nice excuse for Castro there. No reason he shouldn't have scored there.

Dont care for arrieta to still be in game..
8 run lead close to 120 pitches and no day off till his next start Friday against the Cardinals

Yeah I wasn't a fan of that 9th inning either. He looked good but there's not an extra day off or anything before his next start

Happy about the series though. Cubs take 2/3 from a pretty good team on the road with Bryant in his worst stretch of the season

You sure couldn't have asked more from Kyle Schwarber this week. I hope he goes down, keeps improving and we see him in August.

He'll certainly be back before the year is up. If we're going to keep pace with St. Louis, Coghlan and Fowler are both going to have to step up. Need both to get on base more. Couldn't possibly ask for more from Rizzo and Bryant -- both All-Stars. Getting Ramirez back soon will help.

Coghlan has been very good for the last 6 weeks. Right now you just want him to keep it up.
