Top 3 starters on both sides matching up....

The Cubs have always hit Wacha well so that's encouraging and I don't buy that all of a sudden he's a TOR level starter. In fact his peripherals are actually worse last year when he had an ERA over 4. I realize that you can make a similar argument about Lester's numbers this year but I think he's simply the more talented pitcher. So for me tonight's game is key. If they can win tonight I'm certain they can win one of Hendrick's or Quintana's starts. The Cubs are a better team than the Cardinals but of course that isn't always proven in results. Go Cubs!

Wacha’s coach is due to turn back into a pumpkin any day now.

Should be a fun series, hopefully the Cubs get at least 2 out of 3. Time for Bryant to break out and go yard a few times this weekend. No HRs in a month, have to wonder how much that HBP has to do with that. With a day off and rest day yesterday maybe he'll go off:cubs::cubs:

Heard something on that yesterday..
His OPS dropped .200 since his return
Walks dropped and strikeouts went up by 10%

They didn't give the amount but have him taken a bunch more pitches per AB since his return ..

I think it having some affect

Any line up with Happ is a disappointing line up. Can we just trade him so he doesn’t take playing time from better players?

I’m not the biggest Happ fan but the guy has an .828 OPS and a 112 wRC+ which is a tad disappointing but it’s not like he’s not producing.

Yeah I probably dislike him more than I should because I hate that Almora doesn’t play everyday because of him.

Great to see KB break out of his homerless streak. 448 foot blast, looked and felt good off the bat.

What the fuck is that enormous numeral 2 doing in the infield? Do they think their fans can't otherwise figure out which base is second?
