Hamels has a .31 ERA in June. Leads the majors.
Ryu .45
Buehler: .87
Scherzer .93
Berrios 1.63

and so on until
deGromm 2.25

He has been good. But we are talking about the hottest pitcher in baseball going up against him.
I get it but hamels doesn’t get any support... last game was a loss that he started (scored 1) a few starts before that at the cards and he pitched good enough to win and they lost that game also with just 1 run and degrom is the best pitcher he has faced in those recent starts so I don’t see the cubs giving him much support tomorrow either. Prediction: 3-1 Mets

THEO WOULDN'T GIVE UP SCHWARBER FOR THIS GUY:

Christian Yelich, OF, Brewers
What more do we even say about Yelich at this point? The reigning NL MVP is hitting .345/.439/.751 with 29 homers, 17 steals and 62 RBI in 310 plate appearances. His 29 homers lead the majors, while his 17 steals are tops in the NL. The only players to lead their league in homers and steals in the same season were Ty Cobb in 1909 and Chuck Klein in 1932. Cobb did it with nine homers and 76 steals, while Klein had 38 dingers and 20 swipes. Yelich, meanwhile, is on pace for 64 homers and 38 steals, rounded to the nearest whole number.

He won't lead the league in HRs, and who steals with all the HRs these days?

STUPIDIEST RESPONSE EVER.

It's not a claim he will lead the lead in HRs and yes, steals matter especially when you lead the league in HRs

The point was that Theo fucked up when he wouldn't trade Chunky for Yellich

Try to get it straight before posting next time. :)

"I'm not me! I'm someone else!"
Yeah I meant to post that in the original reply but forgot and wanted to clear that up for everyone so yes I’m not the only negative poster, although it’s not negative when it’s the truth

You made the point of guys who led the league in HRs and steals and I thought that was irrelevant, because it won't happen.
And you just have a hard on over Schwarber, and I have no interest in discussing that.

Maybe shortening the stroke against this guy would be a good idea?

The cubs badly need Baez to come out of his slump.

Even the upper deck cameramen making fun of Javy swinging at outside pitches. Sad.
He turned to crowd and asked...guess what pitch is coming next. After the flail...another turn around...oh my, who saw that coming?

Was there ever really reports of the cubs being in on Yelich and the marlins wanting Schwarber? Seems more like something omelette might be making up
