Why does home opener matter? The better the team is, the LESS likely you are to spend a lot of money on games that are not meaningful because you want to save money for the expense in October/November.

No it's not. Still can get 4 seats (max allowed to buy) online in the best section of the park. In fact I am one row closer now than earlier.

Why does home opener matter? The better the team is, the LESS likely you are to spend a lot of money on games that are not meaningful because you want to save money for the expense in October/November.

And that might be if you have the fan base of the Braves. this is the Cubs. Sorry, that reasoning does not wash at all.

Nope.. just like he did with Schwarber, he gonna ride that horse til it either takes off or fall to the ground..

Only difference this year though is there will be more of a rotation there between Happ and Almora..

I am just glad we are seeing Zobrist at 1st and that crap of putting Javy there last year has ended.

This is the reason they cannot start every year with two weeks of playing in domes or warm weather cities, nobody sells out games in April. The cubs have been asking for delaying the start due to the construction, this is the first year they obliged.

I hate the fact the white sox are braving thru it. My daughter got to the park when they called it and its been decent enough to have played.
