We need to win or sweep this series.

Also, the Reds are fascinating with the face that they are like the only bottom team with a positive run differential. Strange.

Heck yeah Schwarbs!
Let’s just go club these guys early and forget the need for late inning heroics.

Didn't take long for Schwarber to launch a HR.

What's the alternative? Russell who sucks equally?
Incorrect. 117 AB vs 33 is not a fair bias. Even if both a equal Russell brings plus D and Descanasio gives negative D.

The only way Descanasio wins this debate is if he hits. And his OPS is worse than Russell's. And that is not saying much.

As far as a legit answer I believe that guy is not on the team. Zo would be ideal but issues there.

So IMO it will come from the outside. But as far as internal I would play Russell every day to build a rhythm. See what full time play can generate. If it is more of the same then you start to think trade or Bote full time. And I like him at 3B not so much at the pivot.

That said I'm a huge fan of Scooter Garnett. I believe that he would solve most issues in general.

Howie Kendrick could be a target that comes relatively cheap.
