I actually felt bad for them, I saw wise score and was just hoping no one was seriously hurt.

either way wise would have scored if he holds onto that ball IMO
Yeah, that was way deep. They were okay or else I wouldn't have laughed.

i think they were more embarrased than anything.

thank god the sox didnt celebrate like ass clowns. i tweeted that if they won they should just slap ass and walk off the field as they did. If they would have went nuts I would have lost it.

All things considered, if they won on a walkoff after giving up a huge lead and also with the knowledge that they gained a game on Detroit, I wouldn't begrudge them a bit of celebration :D

I would. 6 runs in the 9th? no excuse for that. I know it happens, but still.

its going to be an interesting september. all these games now are so vital.

Never thought I would be in this position before the season. I didnt think they would lose 95 games, i thought 1 game over/under 500. I aint holding my breath, but if we did get in, i like the matchups that are out there. yankees and rangers the sox can hang with.....I was really worried about the angels and still kinda am.

Well, yeah, but you hate everything.

:troll:

im half empty all the time. its chicago sports, we all get kicked in the nuts every year. it so happened that it didnt happen in 05, but most of the time its a swift kick to the sack.

all chicago teams should always be competitive all the time.

I'm a huge Mariner fan, as you can probably tell. I think the Sox do take two games this series even though the Mariners are hot as hell. Vargas lost tonight and Beavan and Millwood have both pitched well lately, but I think we'll be lucky to win one.

Damn I wish I could go to one of these games this weekend.

Just moved to Chicago so I want to see the M's and Seahawks play here in Chi Town.

Quintana has been all over the place in the 1st inning. Hopefully he settles down in the 2nd.

42 pitches in the 1st inning.

Wow fuck this umpire. Throw AJ out. Throws Robin out, and Robin is definitely getting suspended or this confrontation with Joyce

Yup... Once Barrett sees the film of the first three innings, he should be embarassed with his performance.

Lance Barrett, the home plate umpire was calling quite a bit of pitches for Blake Beaven that where either low or outside a strike. Then Pierzynski got tossed by Barrett for arguing. Then Robin comes out and has to be restrained by 3rd base ump Jim Joyce. Robin was tossed as well.
