Bonham, Baker...

I vaguely remember that TV commercial, although I can't recall what it was for. Little known CCS fact is that CRM114 is the kid in the lower left corner. He's grown up now.

Yes Cream had their moments but ginger baker was not the drummer Bohnam was.
Sorry but you are objectively wrong. Love the stomp but Ginger had otherworldly rhythm.

I guess Baker v. Bonham is a matter of opinion, but I would say Baker was every bit the drummer Bonham was. Neither can claim superiority.

The Who shouldn't even be mentioned in this thread. Not even worth discussing.

Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker, Keith Richards (lol), Pete Townshend (lol again), Nick Mason, David Gilmour. These are the "best musicians in the world". One and a half are dead.

Just lol at this omelet boob.

I love their Village Green album. Very underrated band. I think they weren't as popular as The Who because their music was more British folk, whereas the Who was more straightforward (mundane) melodies with guitar/drums.
Kinks are aces

I just never thought he was that great. Loved Cream but never was wowed by Baker.

^^John Bonham on drums^^.......hit it hard and people will think you are great.

Neil Pert > John Bonham

Never thought of Bohnam as a hard hitter but he was a very good drummer in my opinion. Love Peart as well. Rush and Foghat was my very first concert. I also think Bill Ward is underrated as a rock drummer

Funny how ommy thinks he can change my opinion of my favorite band since the 70’s with cheap quotes from a few musicians.
