I wouldn't expect him to waive it, he's got a good gig here.

I still like Lee better and he will come cheaper. Lee will come back or the Cubs won't sign a 1B in the offseason. I have a hunch. Ricketts is a Lee guy and loves how he plays.

Not if he wants to win anytime soon.

That's what I would think. There has been lots of talk of Ramirez switching to 1B if no Lee. So I'm going by that.

Pena or Lee won't help the Cubs win. They need to get younger. So I say give Colvin a shot at 1B and Jackson makes the team out of ST. The Cubs could be planning for that. I saw that somewhere today.

:shot:i'd rather have Nady at 1st

i'd like to see colvin to grow and learn and become a good outfielder more than moving him around and not giving him a chance to really learn his position especially one where i think he's more comfortable in

Do what you want. I'm just here for the fun and to waste time. I never flip out on anybody and I'm not an ass hole. So do what you want. I will stay my calm self.

You actually are a Third Grader! "I'm just here to have fun". How is us yellin' at you about your mental retardation-esque sentences and thoughts fun for you?

Colvin has stellar D, and the only talk I have heard of Ramirez moving to 1st was 4 years ago on a guy's speculative post at I site and your shit.

BTW, Ramirez was interviewed and was "leaning towards exercising" his option. However, he has yet to talk to his agent.

Not surprised he's gonna exercise is at all. But I could see the Cubs moving Ramirez to 1st IF Vitters comes up at some point next season, which would be bad
