Maddon and Cubs brass loves Happ

Maddon wants to keep forcing him into the lineup. Happ is a 30 HR guy and no one plays harder. Keep it up, Joe!!!!

I watched Happ do some Zen fold the hands and bow move with Maddon in the dugout. I think they do it every game. I guess its brown nose points that Schwarber needs to work on.

I believe Happ will be a good MLB player.

That does not mean he is a better option now than others. But the Cubs have a lot of guys in their rotatiion, and that's Joe's MO, so I can certainly live with it. I just think he changes too often. The minor leaguer immediately leapfrogs guys who are legit major leaguers, resting guys three times in a week, etc.

But while his decision on one particular day doesn't always thrill me in the "micro", I like how he manages when looked at in the "macro".

Happ is good, and had a fantastic rookie season (half season) but I am still not completely sold on him yet. Would like to see a full season out of him and a better BA before I am sold on him.
