What's the Bears most pressing draft needs?

RB - Bears are interviewing a lot of RBs. They have Davis, Cohen, Patterson, Nall, is that enough, or do they need that playmaker?

TE - Burton, Sheehan, Braunecker enough? Need low or high pick?

LT - Behind Leno is Sowell. Only Tackle development project is Coward... need a prospect?

OLB - Floyd, Lynch injury prone, Lynch 1-yr contract, Fitts sucks... need another prospect?

G - Long may not last long. Backup is journeyman Larsen. We have no young G prospect... need a prospect?

CB - Behind Fuller/Prince we have Skrine, McMannis, Toliver, Joseph... need another prospect?

S - Jackson, HaHa, Bush, DHC... no one PS eligible... do we need another prospect?

QB - Daniel is $4.5mil backup, do we want to develop a QB behind Mitch?

K - Bears signed a few decent prospects, do we need to draft one too?

Any other position?

I think they need a safety that can replace Dix next year while also hoping they find an RB that really fits this system. I’m fine with BPA for every pick.

Most people will say RB, but I'm not so sure. I think it is a need for sure, but Pace doesn't have to take one in the 3rd if he doesn't want to. I think CB and/or OLB would be the biggest need. We need to get some young talent on the roster at those positions for depth and continuity. Each of those positions seem to take forever to develop guys, especially CB.

The most pressing need on this team is kicker and they have signed a bunch of bodies to compete for that spot

Other than that our starters are set. Even key backups have been signed.

They really can just sit back and take the best of what’s available. I would like to land g,s,de,rb if you want to be picky

This year is really about the offense stepping up.

That means that RB and TE are the primary needs.

The Bears cannot leave holes on the offense in a season where they need the group to get closer to the defense.

TE cannot be lower than LT or OLB.

The Bears have 1 reliable TE on the team. They have 3 reliable OLBs and a young guy in Irving who flashed. They have one of the most durable LTs in the league.

TE without a doubt.

Pace just needs to swallow his pride on Shaheen and blow another pick.

With the Davis and Patterson signings...I like this backfield already and the defense just needs backend of the roster work.

Strictly as a roster need I agree. But we can sign a Jermaine Gresham, Maxx Williams, or Levine Tiololo after the draft, while the edge / OT markets are barren.

If we sign those guys then we still only have 1 reliable TE.

The Bears have 2 starting OTs and reasonably competent backups.

The Bears do not have a 2nd starting TE.

Agreed. It is time to swallow pride on Shaheen and make sure that TE does not sink the offense in 2019.

Part of me wanted to search for 2017 posts, but the rest of me already lost interest. As long as I get to be in your Club DUD because this youngin needs to take the proverbial HIKE.

We actually call ourselves the DUD patrol
