No thread yet about Frey getting cut?

I assumed there would be a thread since a lot of people seemed to be pretty optimistic about his ability to make the team and contribute IN THE FUTURE. I had heard he looked good at the start of training camp, so what happened? I think that a few of us were holding out hope that he would turn out to be Emery's first late-round bargain. Was anyone else surprised that he was cut?

What is sad is that Bear fans now expect late round picks to be good and contribute. They also expect early round picks to be busts and not even see the field after all the Angelo years.
