Well you could pick a few different Cubs player.

In all seriousness I bet they try to make a claim on Manny. Dunn won't fall that far on the wire. Carlos Lee would, but he sucks and you don't want him.

Any other "sluggers" anyone can think of that would make it through waivers?

I'm saying it right now, I think we'll get Manny off of waivers.

Could def see it happening if the Dodgers suck the next week or two.

The only problem is that the Dodgers did ask for Viciedo in return and KW said he's untouchable now. Though two weeks from now I'm sure the Dodgers asking price will go down.

just heard an hour ago on the radio that they believe they will make a huge push for manny. 47 hours to clear once on waivers.

As I've said before, I don't like manny, but at this point I'll take his bat. I think Ozzie can handle him.

now I have to disagree again this guy is a cancer in the clubhouse, has declined tremendously, is definitely old and can't stay healthy. if he had any value at all the Dodgers would keep him because its offense the Bums need! Why would anyone want to trade a youngster of any value at all for this sack of shit???

2009 LA 104 352 62 102 24 2 19 63 71 81 0 1 .290 .418 .531 .949

2010 LAD 61 186 31 59 13 0 8 39 30 34 1 1 .317 .409 .516 .925

.300 avg over the last two years with nearly 30 dingers, and .900+ OPS.

If he declined it wasn't much and it would be because of injury.

The Dodgers would trade him because he's about to be a free agent who they can't offer arbitration. If they fall out of the race in the next couple of weeks they might as well try to get something for him.

He would give the White Sox a fantastic, AL proven, power hitter who thrives when motivated. It's about to be time for him to turn on "Manny needs to get paid" mode again.

Idk that the White Sox can offer the right prospect(s) for him but that would be the only reason not to get him to play DH.

You clearly don't know who Manny Ramirez is.

You especially don't know the Manny that magically becomes well behaved and amazing at baseball right around time to get paid.
