12 strikouts, amazing...
3 perfect games this year, 6 no-hitters, and half of the no-hitters have been at Safeco
coincidence?

2015 is when a 29 year old Felix Hernadez hits the market. That doesn't match up with the Cubs window at all...

Not sure if serious.

Somewhat. There are far too many things that could happen before we know if that makes sense or not. But that is what a lot of experts point to as when the Cubs window opens (as Dewey likes to point out), Soriano's contract is finally off the books, and the Cubs ridiculously friendly to WGN TV deal is up. The Cubs should have a lot of money to play with when 2015 rolls around.

Is it just me or is it usually the Rays getting no-hitters/perfect games thrown against them?

I guess my thinking is that if a 29 year old starter provided he's still an ace, and isn't showing the brass signs of breaking down should be a viable option to sign in free agency.

They have had something like 3 against them in the past year or so, and the other AL teams haven't had it happen in something like 21 years.

He will cost a ton, but the Cubs ought to be in a position to afford and use a player like King Felix.

go talk about the cubs and their future players in your forum. this isnt a thread about the cubs getting felix.
What is this point of this thread? Everyone of us know how awesome King Felix, except maybe Capt Serious who probably thinks he doesn't wins enough. If all we are allowed to talk about here is how awesome he is this would be a super boring thread. But I know how dare we talk about the Cubs.

Dewey has a point, but I thanked this for accurately portraying the inner workings of the mind of Capt. Serious.
