A perfect game would be where the pitcher does everything and the catcher is just kind of there. The pitcher doesn't rely on lady luck or the umpire or the catcher having to block balls in the dirt. 27 soft liners could lead to errors or a ball that sneaks through. That's why I suggested the 81-pitch outing.
