I have mixed feelings on this. I've hated the Yankees my entire life growing up surrounded by yankees fans.

On the other hand I love Kerry Wood and really want to see him win a ring. I think it would be so cool to see him come in the 8th inning of a playoff game and shutdown a rally.

I won't root for the yankees to win, but if they do I'll be happy for Kerry.

It would be dandy to see him get a ring. It would be the only reason I would get any pleasure out of a Yankee win. But, that being said - I think it is more likely that he blows it for them.

There's no reason to believe that he's absolutely going to win a ring this year,but it would be nice to see him do it now that he's playing for a contender.

I think Wood is going to essentially serve as what they were hoping Joba coulda been when he was in the pen.
