Can’t see Harbaugh in Denver. Elway won’t give up power on personnel... which is something I think Harbaugh would want.

We want to ignore it but Fangio might be a hot candidate

He is pretty old to rebuild a team so if he does leave I'd expect to a contender like the Ravens, Browns.

Unless he's had enough of it with Michigan.

Browns are not going to hire a defensive minded coach as a HC.

They already are with Greg Williams, pay attention.

Don't look now, but your moron is showing.....he was already employed by them and they are moving on......he was an interim HC...you don't hire a defensive guy with a new shiny toy at the QB position.

I would like to know what Fangios 3 year contract was he signed this year. I would hope it is comparable to HC money and if not renegotiate it. If he is paid like a head coach, what is his incentive to leave this team with the most dominate defense in the league at 60 years old? Also, have you seen his pressers? He does not like the limelight.
I would like to see the Bears, as a reward for this season give him a new 5 year deal comparable to HC salaries in the league so he can retire at 65 as the most dominate Bears Def coordinator since Buddy Ryan...Then he can open Vic's Italian Steak house in downtown Chicago...

Well, I certainly wouldn't say anyone is ignoring it, as it is being discussed a lot. He may be a candidate, but we will see. His age works against him but s not a deal breaker. he's not 80. The trend for offensive minds will work against him, as will the fact there are several defensive coaches now available. But he is top of that heap as a DC.

Pat Fitzgerald gets the packers job

Pat Fitzgerald seems to win a lot of games at Northwestern when hi steams look crappy. But is he some innovative offensive mind? A defensive guru? He seems like neither.

What's his appeal to an NFL team?

Packers CEO Mark Murphy actually hired Fitzgerald when Murphy was AD at Northwestern. While Fitzgerald has shut down countless interview requests from the NFL in the past, with a good sales pitch, this one may work."

I'm sure Fitzgerald is high on their list, and the Packers are prob. one of the few teams he would consider coaching. He is a defensive minded coach, but If there is any team willing to hire one of those it is def. the packers.

If I'm GM of a team, I just ask Andy Reid who his current best assistant is, and I hire him
