...is thin crust, and tavern cut.

Prove me wrong.

You just described 90% of the pizzas I order. Wife likes Malnati's deep dish so we get that once in a while, good change of pace, just not my favorite.

Neapolitan style is my favorite, but I can't find a good place out here in the burbs, plenty of good places in the city, and I would imagine in Naples as well.

I spent ages 12-17 in their delivery zone...so it was pretty much the only pizza I ate.

That breakfast pizza was like crack to adolescent Vu.

I still love aurellios. It's kinda a treat though because a little pricey imo.

Vito and Nick's is great. There are plenty of other bars that do that kinda pie quite well.

I agree that most Chicago pizza is not deep dish, but wouldn’t call it thin crust. I am now in St Louis, and the pizza is paper ghin, and nowhere close to as good as the type I grew up on

Maybe not quite as as good as V&N, but really close.

Does Beggars count as deep dish?

I swear they pile on more cheese/sauce than Lou Malnati's
Beggar's deep dish counts as deep dish. Beggar's thin crust does not count as deep dish.

You're right. Deep dish sucks.

Big fan of Villa Nova Pizzeria. Haven't tried Vito's and Nicks yet. But it's on my list.

Also, Salerno's Oak Park is sneaky good. Lino's in Rockford was my favorite pizza growing up.

Even tho Beggar's "thin" crust has as much sauce/cheese as a deep dish Lou Malnati's?

Also, is a hot dog a sandwich?

The regular pizza is super thick. (topping wise)
As for the deep dish, yes, it's quite a but of cheese but no more sauce than a thin.
