Seattle NHL team names

A bunch of fans suggested some NHL team names in case a franchise moves to Seattle in the near future. As always is the case, many of the names sound ridiculous when you first hear them. What you have to realize is that even teams that have been in existence for decades have some pretty goofy names.

Ducks, Wild, Devils, Rays, Stars, Angels, Browns etc...

Personally I like Kraken, Pilots, Bombers, Stealth and Thunderbirds.

For the past five or so seasons the Blackhawks have been my favorite team. I've only really been into hockey since then. But, if a team does come to Seattle... That'll be one awesome matchup in my house.

Buttface needs to seriously give up on the notion that hockey will do well in warm weather cities. Yeah, the North Stars have done good in Dallas, but Miami, Atlanta (now moved to Winnipeg), Tampa and Phoenix have all blown up in his face. Have people from the Rust Belt moved there? Yes, but they're going to root for the teams they grew up rooting for.

The Seattle Thunderbirds already exist. WHL team.

The Kraken would be a pretty sweet name. If that happens, and Liam Neeson isn't saying "RELEASE THE KRAKEN" before they take the ice at every home game, someone seriously fucked up.

I lived up there for 4-5 years. Fanbase is much different than anywhere else ive lived. 110% die hard or total fair weather.

He wanted a stadium built in the Bellevue suburb for one, but if the Sonic do in deed come to town (still that whole Sacramento's second chance shit) they'd probably wind up with a different owner and playing there.
