It was a good run, I'm not even mad (although it sucks we lost to flamingo land) let's get healthy and regroup for next year, see red

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Ray Allen...the only Heat player with enough sportsmanship left to give out some hugs/handshakes at the end.

Welcome to the offseason fairweathers/trolls if you decide to stick around.

I don't mind teams not shaking hands. Especially when the teams don't like each other. But, yeah.. Ray's a good guy. He's actually one of my favorite players in the league.

He was one of mine too up until he signed with the Heat. I still love his game, but alas...I can't support anyone on that team. Yeah, I'm biased, whatever. :elephant:

It stings... but it was a great season considering everything. I think we exceeded expectations without Rose and without Kirk/Deng for a lot of the post-season.

We seriously need to add some offense though.

There isn't much to celebrate about a semifinals win.

Agreed. Adding offense has been a need for a long time though.

Some positives we can take away

1) Jimmy's progression. What more need be said? He's stepped it up big time and shown he can produce. He'll be a major part of our rotation next year...perhaps our guard version of Taj.

2) If we can keep Nate at a cheap price, he'd be a heck of an option off the bench for spurts. Running him along with Kirk could possibly work. Same goes for Marco...if the price is right, they're not bad guys to have off the bench.

3) We won 45 games and made it to the 2nd round without our best player, doing half of it without arguably our 2nd best player and without our backup PG. Fully healthy, we can be a top level team in the league.

Hopefully we can either draft or sign a scorer and maybe a shooter or a backup center, and we're not in a terrible spot for next year. Lots of work to be done still, but considering what we have, there's things we can look forward to.

Meh, really hard having the game end like that. Oh well, very proud of this team's effort all season. You know, except for Derrick Rose. Fuck you, Derrick Rose. Fuck your shitty "Return" commercials that ended up amounting to absolute dick. The fact that you were paid almost $17 million this year to rehab, then not play a single minute is mindboggling. There is ZERO excuse to sit on the bench after being medically cleared for over two months while your teammates kill themselves and fight through injuries of their own. Using the whole "not ready mentally" angle is complete bull shit. You know how you prepare yourself mentally to play? You fucking check into a game.

Listen, I still like Derrick Rose. I still like that he leads the team I've been rooting for since I came out of the womb. But until he's man enough to admit to everyone that he had never planned on playing this season, it's going to be hard to be satisfied with how the season ended. Using the whole "what-if" scenario is pointless, but come on -- look how tough we played Miami without having Rose, Deng, Hinrich and I guess you could throw Hamilton in there, too. What if we would've been at full strength like Miami? There's no doubt in my mind this series would've played out differently. I'm not saying Miami would've lost the series, but we all know that this would've been a six or seven game series.

Oh well, time to start doing my mock draft and season recap articles.

Dude, this is really silly...really silly. If Gordon was on this team next season, he would sit on the bench and watch Butler. Please stop the madness.
