I can feel it in my bones. This is the year. Who's on the train? Chooo choooooo mother fuckers.

If we don't pull it off, I think it will come down to:

- Mitch. I'm not super worried here, I think he takes a step forward under Nagy year 2.

- Defense taking a step back sans Fangio. Again not too concerned here.

- Injuries. We were pretty healthy last season. Factors beyond anyone's control, but this team is pretty deep.

- Kicker. Please God no.

Feel free to throw this in my face if I'm wrong at the end of the season.

Schedule is a little harder, and everyone will be coming for the Bears this season. I could see them having a slightly worse record and still winning the whole thing.

They are as good as any team in the NFL. It doesn’t mean they will win it but they will be in the mix.

Mitch is the only one to hold them back. I'm optimistic that d can get them to the playoffs.

In all my time as a fan....I have only said this once....in 1988. Getting bounced by the Skins AGAIN turned me into a permacynic with this team. Even 2006 felt more like I was just waiting for the collapse than a Super Bowl run.

To be fair Grossman was on that team

Rex was probably the collapse I was dreading. His lows were even more frustrating than Jay Cutler.
Bad Rex was really, really bad.

Why the fuck not? I see a more difficult path and fewer wins this year but unlike last year, we rise to the playoff occasion. No prisoners!

I think both threads can co-exist. This is where Urblock would lock one, or merge.

It's a new day.

The so called harder schedule will just mean this team is more battle tested and ready come playoff time...
