Someone mentioned on The Score this morning that they think Toews has a cracked rib, suffered in Game 4 against the Sharks.

Would explain why he's not playing up to par.

totally agree. pronger is a great defensemen, aided by the blinders put on by the officials whenever he gets on the ice.

after as much highlevel hockey as the hawks played this year, a lonnnggg year, plus our medaling olympic players, who isnt hurt? the question is simply who can overcome it.

Pronger is a very good defenseman. However it should be noted that part of what makes him good is his ability to get away with numerous penalties and dirty-play antics. No one will question his ability as a hockey player, but no one will question his level of douchness either. GO HAWKS!

Hockey does not mandate injury reports since the sport isn't heavily gambled. Essentially the only time there will be a report is when the injury is obvious/removes the player from the game. Maybe he's injured; maybe he's not. So what. He's out there playing.
