Did you like Boynton and Ladd in there for Hendry and Burish?

I thoight both moves were good. Boynton added some physicality and got in the faces of the Flyers attacking our players.

Ladd wasn't too existant, but it was his first game back..I expect him to play better on Sunday

Ok you got me interested -- for the D aspect -how did Boynton play? I've been intrigued as to the reason he was sat the entire playoffs - I understand that it worked since the Hawks advanced in those rounds ... but wonder what the reason for that was - as from what I saw the last few weeks of the regular season was that he was the only guy that seemed to have a mean streak (and that from a guy added at the trading deadline -and even then -only to Rockford).

Boynton seemed to play well...he was never blatantly at fault for any goals...he stuck to his man and added that physical aspect

I think I read somewhere that he was banged up going into the playoffs, then just sat because Q went with the hot hands

It honestly depends on who you talk to. Some people didnt like it because of his lack of skating ability, add on to that he was with Sopel so we had our two slowest d-men out there at the same time.

I thought he played pretty well, he got into people's faces and didnt make any huge mistakes.

I don't think they wanted him too either (talking about at the trading deadline) -but the entire Johnsson thing really -well, it didn't do much for the team depth at the d position.
