Why is there so much wasted space on this forum

I'm not talking about certain people's posts, I'm talking about the blue bars on the sides that take up half the screen space. What is the purpose of that? Every time I browse the forum I have to zoom in to see anything. Then you add in the stupid automatically played video at the top that not even adblock prevents from playing, and this becomes one of the most cumbersome, unintuitive forums I've ever seen. Who designed this thing? I hate them.

He's probably on the default CCS Throwback skin, definitely a lot of wasted space. You should change the default to the 2018 version. Much more clean.
