In honor of the Bears 100th season, and piggybacking off of Rory's 100 top posters list, who is in your lifetime top 10 Bears of all-time. Notice I said lifetime. We all know Butkus was great, but I was born in 1982, so he was not in my lifetime. Also, choose players that you have actually seen play. For instance, I was born in 1982. So Walter was certainly playing, but I don't have a memory of watching a game where he played.

I was born in 1990 so mine would basically be the same usual suspects as posted above me. Instead 10 of my favorite less decorated players would be
10.) Tony Parish
09.)Adrian Peterson
08.) Marty Booker
07.)Chris Harris
06.)Nathan Vasher
05.)Adawale Ogunleye
04.) Dez Clark
03.) Anthony Thomas
02.) Jerry Azumah
01.) Thomas Jones

Definitely not the 10 best but just 10 bears I always loved.

One of those rare occasions where I'm glad I'm old.

Dick Butkus
Gale Sayers
Walter Payton
Gary Fencik
Dan Hampton
Richard Dent
Devon Hester
Brian Urlacher
Khalil Mack

Guys that could end up on that list in a few years, Cohen, Trubisky, Shaheen, Hicks, Jackson, but who am I kicking off?

10. Marcus Robinson (before he hurt his back I would have sworn he was the next Randy Moss)
9. Tony Parrish (Seeing him in a Niners jersey broke my heart)
8. Olin Kreutz (seeing him play and lead was what made me realize the team is built through the trenches)
7. A Ogunaleye (I was so pissed we traded Booker for him, then I saw the prince play)
6. L. Briggs (fuck you if say he was a product of Urlacher! Dude was amazing!)
5. Mack (I know, one season but damn he excites me! Attitude, Talent, Leadership, Commitment, Greatness. Ask me same question next year and he may be #2 on this list)
4. T. Harris (Amazing talent, was hard to watch his decline after his injury and the loss of his wife. Him and Dusty Dorvac in the middle was fun to watch)
3. Tillman (Peanut was amazing. Amazing corner, amazing teammate, amazing leader, amazing talent, amazing person. I’m glad to see his entire career!)
2. M Brown (Could have been the best to ever play safety if he stayed healthy. I remember when we drafted the leader of the Nebraska defense. I was concerned about his measurables. You can’t measure heart. I am so glad I got to see him play. We may have a young safety that will eventually take this spot currently on our roster)
1. Urlacher (who else? His whole career was amazing! I remember how bad I wanted him in the draft. For the first time in my life I had to work on draft day. Before cell phones were popular so I was calling from work to see who we go. “ You got that Urlacher kid”. I just knew he’d be great. I enjoyed every moment he suited up for us. No one will ever replace him on my list! Loved the player. Loved the person and teammate even more! Cried during his HOF speech.)

Put some love in for the early 90s teams. They did have some good players, but they were overshadowed by the Bears' refusal to put talent into modern offenses with QBs and WR & TEs. Most of the good players were on the o-line or defense.
