Haha, I wish you three were business connections. Lol
The business world is tough if you're a lone wolf in a big city like Chicago. Other than my cousins who are already well established in their careers and are kind of distant from me, there isn't really anyone that I could reach out to right away.
I had the perfect setup when one of my other cousins was in Chicago. He could've gotten me a job directly with his company and I'd be set, but unfortunately he got married and got a great opportunity in the NYC area that he couldn't pass up, so I'm SOL on that. Haha
In the end though, the allure of Chicago may be too much to keep me here. You never know.
Not sure yet. Lot of thinking to do about it. I have a lot of connections here which is good. In Chicago it'd basically be like starting over which would be tough, especially in a big city. The old adage "it's not what you know, it's who you know" is very true. I really don't have connections up there and it seems a lot harder to make them up there than it does down here. Still undecided for now though.
Not bad. Have an opportunity to be a bank manager where I work, but the drawback would be that I wouldn't be able to transfer to Notre Dame or any school near Chicago this Fall. It's really good money, but at the same time I'd kind of like to head back up there. Decisions, decisions.
