Harbaugh - Not happening.
Carmichael - No thanks. Doesn't have HC personality.
Naggy - At least interview him.
Reich - See Carmichael.
DeFilippo - I think Flip is the ideal fit with Pace / Trubisky / Bears.
McDaniels - Best offensive mind of the group. Likely going to Giants, IMO.
Shurmur - I'd definitely interview him. Right up there with McD & Flip.
Toub - I love Toub, but I don't think he is who Pace is looking for.

My top 3 are: Flip / McD / Shurmur

McDaniels or DeFilippo. I want a young offensive minded coach. No older retreads please like Fox. I bet it will be Carmichael because of Pace connection with the Saints.

Harbaugh - he would be my #1 if I thought it was possible, but I don't think it is.
Carmichael - He seems like the Trestman type
Naggy - #3A
Reich - #4
DeFilippo - #2
McDaniels - #1, it is hard to argue with the success he has had even if it is Tom Brady. He can lose all his WRs to FA and injury, yet pull a kid off the street and coach him up to be a #1 in very little time. He is who I want because I think he has matured under BB and could take our franchise to the promise land (SB/Dynasty)
Shurmur - #3B
Toub - #5 - If the Bear fail to bring in any of the other guys, like they have done in the past, and offer Toub the opportunity, I think he will prove the naysayers wrong.

I think there's a good chance it will be Carmichael and I'm not very enthused about that

I'd go with Toub If he could put a good staff around himself. These other options are guys I don't like and some are getting credit for young QBs playing great. Toub seems to be solid and consistent year in and year out, no matter where he goes.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. San Antonio Spurs
  1. Chicago Bears
  2. Cleveland Browns
  1. San Jose Sharks
  1. Miami (Ohio) Redhawks
  2. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
I think McDaniels is the best choice.

I don't believe in the Patriots coaching curse, but evidence seems to suggest that once they leave NE, they might not be very good. Few coaches are brought into "winning team" situations and I understand that, but the success rate appears pretty low.

I too like Toub, but if he gets a good staff around him, they will likely get snatched up the next year to be HCs, that is the only reason I have any hesitation that he will be a successful HC. JOHN Harbaugh has proven that you can be successful as a former ST coach, so there is proof it can be done.

McDaniels is still my guy but the talk is he is paired with Caserio for his GM.

Which would completely fuck the Bears unless they do let go of Pace.

I voted for other, but not necessarily because I didn't think some of the candidates listed weren't decent. That being said, how about Paul Chryst from the Badgers. He seemed to do okay with Russell Wilson. His teams run the ball, use the tight end position quite well and have had pretty decent defenses despite losing coordinators every season. Okay, boys, go ahead and blast away.

No to Harbaugh, and no to McDaniels. I have no preference regarding the rest...

I don’t flip 1 and 2around because I don’t think you can completely change someone’s personality and McDaniels could blow up.

Other than that, I’m entirely in agreement.

I'm gonna go Shurmur.

I think he is really underrated and you simply can't hold the Browns tenure against him. Not even BB could escape that mess.

Experienced, offensive mind who I think would be able to put together a really good staff.
