Day to Day.

That is his status.

If he wakes up sunday morning and has no soreness he plays.

That is what Day to Day means.

My guess is he ends up playing. The reason he isn't throwing in practice is not because he can't, but because they want to reduce to chance for any swelling or additional soreness. Tomorrow and Saturday will really tell the tale on if he plays or not.

I have a feeling Nagy had a plan to rest him two games just to be overly cautious since he has Daniel in reserve. I am not buying this day to day stuff it is called being too overly protective.

I'm going to be furious if they lose after sitting a healthy player. Mitch needs to be out there if it isn't a serious injury, or something that he could do further damage to just by throwing.

My only concern is Mitch being rusty against the Rams

I never played QB, but in baseball, if you have this long of a layoff, it took more than a couple of days to get your arm back in throwing shape.

Is the motion that much different? So if the soreness is gone he will still need a few days of throwing to be ready, am I right?

I just feel Nagy had a good idea Mitch would miss two games form the start if he does indeed miss the giants game. this day to day stuff is crap Giants should not change how they would prepare for the game regardless who the QB is.

LOL stop. Nagy is the most brutally honest HC we have had since Ditka. He has been taking all injuries day by day.

Nagy’s 5 steps ahead of everyone. Chase has had a mini bye to prepare for New York, and that gives Mitch 2 and a half weeks to study the Rams defense. [emoji12]

based on the strident predictions even in the face of incontrovertibly opposing evidence by some posters here from week to week, I'm not sure that some of them even believe that Daniels started last week.

So they're basically conceding the Rams game. You can't expect somebody to come in cold (2 weeks without throwing a ball) and expect them to light up especially a young QB.

If they lose to the Giants the decision to rest Mitch is going to haunt them. You're sitting at 8-5 needing to most likely go 2-1 against Packers, Vikings, 49ers just to secure a playoff spot.

Do you understand what the Bears defense can do? The Rams haven’t faced a defense like the Bears have.

Stop with Trubisky. Everyone! Understand that this Bears defense is special. You guys don’t think Fangio has a game plan against this Rams offense. That’s all the Rams are. Just offense. The reason Donald has so many sacks is cuz the opposition is losing. Wait until our Complete Bears defense gets ahold of this Rams offense in Chicago. In cold fucking weather. Stop tripping.

My drunken thoughts. Besides Nagy has a game plane to Make the Rams look like bitches. Jameson is the goat!!

Really? How did they go from 8-3 to 8-5 in one game?

And Rachel Madcow just reported that Trubisky is out forever because he does not support kneeling for the national anthem and his team mates have cast him to the curb.

I said sitting Trubisky is conceding to the rams so thats 1 loss. Then I mention IF they lose to the Giants it would haunt them. So that's 2 losses, try and keep up.

I do think this Giants game is incredibly important, because if you look down the line, the playoffs are not a lock if you lose this weekend. It'll be a dogfight. Whereas if they win, hell, you'll probably only need one more win the rest of the way to secure the division.

But then I think about how this is football, one game at a time, etc. It wouldn't surprise me to see the Bears lose the next two, then win the last three to go 11-5. So who the hell actually knows?

He's not playing. It's been reported already that he isn't playing. The whole thing is a cluster fuck. Hell, they can't even tell us if he practiced.

Actually it's very well orchestrated by Nagy. They know exactly what they're doing. That you don't is by design.

The truth on this situation is dictated by information we can't possibly know at this point. So we're left to extrapolate with the info we do know, or the info we think we know. We won't truly know shit until they decide to tell us.
