Just saw this. Tragic.

Valbuena and Jose Castillo.

God be with them. Sad to see. RIP.

Is it just me or do a lot of Latin MLB players die in car crashes?

Ever driven in Central or South America?

Never have. But almost every time something like this happens, the story mentions how bad the roads are there. So I believe it.

Not just the roads, but the drivers. Not as bad as the middle east, but bad. Lights and signs are more like suggestions, and motorcycles/mopeds pretty much do whatever they want.

What's even worse is it sounds like they were pretty much murdered by scavengers.
