My favorite teams
This is all very well put, and I'll definitely cede that the RBs are getting less of the load.Interesting stat... The difference that I can see is Cohen's attempts per game are up compared to Howards per game which is down. Through week 13 Cohen has had more attempts at rushing than all of 2017. However, you're correct in that the Bears averaged 23.25 carries per game last year and are averaging 22.38 per game this year, RUNNING BACK only carries, not WR carries or QB carries. Also, Howards Yards per carry is down .6 yards per carry and Tarik's is up .3 yards per carry.
The RB average per game 2017: 95.62 yards per game v. 2018 average of 86.25 yards per game. Probably where most of the observable discrepancies come from.
One thing I know for sure is that the playoff rushing attack this year will be better than last year.
