Nagy must have someone in mind because the big names are dropping like flys.

Big no to Triple G Williams. Would rather have Pagano or Jay Rodgers.

If they are serious about Pagano than they should scoop him up quick because I just read both the Browns and Panthers are really interested as well.

If these are our final candidates and we land one of them then the bears have done their due diligence and I would be ecstatic.

With the other teams filing their DC spots, this seems like Pagano is happening.

The Cardinals and Browns both wanted to interview him and both seem to have moved on.

I don't get the hate for Ryan. He is undeniably the most successful candidate available. It's not even close.
Apparently, choir boy is the most important qualification for being DC of the Chicago Bears, too many f-bombs would offend our delicate players. Nevermind that a lot of players texted Glazer after that Hard Knocks episode, saying that they would love to play for him.

Not a fan of Pagano. Seems like a hire similar to Fox if it happens.

It is finished. Pagano is Defensive Coordinator for your Chicago Bears.

Naw, cause he is DC only. If it was a hc role I'd agree. He will stay in his lane.

He's only been a DC for one season in the NFL. I don't like the hire. At all.

I like the hire. We will find out how he does.

Hopefully better than you think he will.

He has great talent to work with, but I don't think he will improve it. I'd almost prefer his brother.

Still a downgrade but I think it at least stops the bleeding

Whew. That did not take long, and a quality hire, not a wtf hire.

It's not a downgrade at all. Dude was a head coach, he can look at this season and be objective and work that with the same players. Hes also a loveable guy who will bring even more character to the locker room. Nagy can continue to get his o together.

That's the crux of the biscuit with this love affair over the guy. Good fella, easy to work with. Not enough in my mind.

Guess I'm an eternal optimist but if he is as competent as marinelli and fangio but less crotchety I think it's a good thing overall..
