Hawks made another move today. I'm working on getting a link for you boys.

Hawks acquire Koekkoek and a 5th for Rutta and a 7th
thanks
Fuk is Kookoo?
Great win on this one:
Traded a 7th for a 5th.
Got a guy making 865k this year--who can be fully buried.
Same guys is not on the books next year.
And we give up a guy buried making 2.25M (1.2M cap hit) who is fully buried and signed through next year, so we effectively freed up 1.2-2.25M of cap for next season.
Fan of the trade; move up in draft and get lottery ticket in Koekkoek
I have to ask, why the fuck did anyone want Jan Rutta?
Nice trade. Just getting rid of Ruuta was a plus.

I liked Ruuta, he had that one shot fake and blast for a goal this year that was nice. He basically got the TVR treatment of a different partner every night. Somehow He and Forsling were to top D pair the beginning of last year until Crow went out.
Dont think we will see this guy, seems like an AHL to AHL trade for now. Murph and Dahlstrom are the top pair for JC, Keith and Seabrook have to be here, and Gus has to point the top PP unit and Davidson is playing pretty well now.
The collection of K's is getting record breaking though.

Rumor has to Koekkoek would have to pass through waivers and might be lost by TBL for nothing. Meanwhile Rutta already passed through waivers so TBL doesn't have to re-waive him--and they have a logjam at DThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Davidson back to Rockford this morning, apparently they are going to give Koekekekkkekkekek a shot against Jersey? Maybe JC will dress 7?

He did. It wasn't pretty. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
In good news though, Caligula took down Lovejoy.
wow, Washington had Hawkitis, terrible defense. Caggs doing his best Shaw interpretation with Kane and Toews, kinda like it, other than Kunitz and AA on the fourth line providing no forecheck.
How about that save by Delia, if you missed it, it should be on most highlight shows as a top play for this month or year, but then lets one squeak thru.

How is this guy doing, is he even playing? Unfortunately what little I've seen since the trade I haven't noticed him at all.
Roooooooadddhouse....
Well, the Washington game notwithstanding (Since Comcast sucks like teenage boy in ex-congressman Mark Foley's office) I agree he's been invisible.
Which is not a bad thing for a D-man. What little I could see of the Washington game was Dahlstrom being a tire fire--taking that mantle over from Keith with Keith looking surprisingly solid in the back end.

Yeah...deserved though. The only channel that was smearing and artifacting during that game was NBCHD. I could have broke out the rabbit ears and got better reception. Some passes looked like they resurrected the glow puck. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Well, that's no ordinary rabbit.
JC mentioned something along the lines of 82 game NHL schedule is hard for these young kids to handle and a rotation would be ok too. I was hoping they would be adding keith and seabroke to said rotation.
Murphy and Dahlstrom have been JC's match up pair against the other teams top line. Is he breaking up Keith and Seabroke again?
