He is really bad and has a shit attitude.

Marrone is a top OL developer and it did not look much better.

Benson definitely turned into a good back once he left, but he also had his moments where he played well for us.

Colombo is a good example, but some might argue he didn't bust in terms of talent, but just injuries did him in while he was with us.

I am trying to think of players who were not overly injured, but rather just played awful for the team that drafted them, and then did a 180 once on a 2nd team.

Like if Shea Mac had gone to the Pats and become a top 10 pass rusher.... cept he didn't.

Jerry Hughes was drafted in the first by the colts and was pretty terrible for them. The Bills signed him and he consistently put up double digit sack numbers.

I'm not saying we should get him, I'm just asking if he would be an option ( notice the question mark in the title )

There must be "something" that convinced the Giants to select him with the ninth pick. Also, if he did end up as a LT starter for the Jags is he really THAT bad. Well, maybe he is, I just thought he was worth mentioning considering his age and salary.

I wasn't aware that asking a question or making a suggestion on this board immediately qualified a thread for the "worst ever thread" in eggpants' book. That guy really adds nothing to any discussion, does he ?

Please stay out of here eggpants, I was only looking for some constructive and civil responses and you seem capable of neither.

I srs can't think of any, but has a 1st round pick ever busted where he was drafted, and then turned it around and become at least a good player elsewhere?

Thomas Jones was a high pick that busted early but turned it around when he joined the Bears. Still one of my favorite Bears of all time. And my vote would be no on Flowers.

You are a moron that knows nothing about the NFL as evidenced by your stupid question. You thought you had a great idea but when posed you were ripped by everyone on the forum.

The best way to never embarrass yourself again is to never start a thread. This way you wont expose your lack of football knowledge.

Hope that helps

Didn't I ask you politely to stay out of here ?
You add literally nothing to any discussion on this forum but hate messages. Why the mods allow you to be a continuous poison here is beyond me.

Go away, creep.

I take a local's word to mean more than any other analyst, thanks for the feedback. Do you think at vet min, that he would be worth a spot in camp?

Honestly I don’t know. He showed very, very, little improvement with the Giants, but I’ll admit I didn’t follow him in Jacksonville. He had a bad attitude in general, but his play on the field was atrocious. For a vet min I’d probably say take a flier as a backup, but I don’t think he’s any better than Cowerd.

I notice how most are critical of Flowers, which is ok. Hearing people's opinion on him was the purpose of this thread.
You're the only one who seems to blame me for Flowers being a bad player.
Since you can't make a distinction between the poster and the subject I suggest you refrain from further comment unless you want to prove you're even dumber than you already look.

What's wrong with you ? Why do you feel the need to insult everyone on sight and make personal attacks instead of just sticking to the subject ?

I'm thrilled we have Harry Heistand here. Theoretically he should be able to pinpoint a player that he feels he could "coach" up. WalterFootball thinks that the 2019 draft is poor for tackles. With depleted draft capital as is, definitely going to have to think outside the box in order to improve RT and depth.

Or we could just re-sign Massie and be done with it.

As it currently stands Massie has the second highest contract of UFA right tackles.
I'd be more interested in finding a similar level replacement for only a fraction of that cost.
Hoping Hiestand could maybe find a suitable replacement from this group.

This is what i was looking at

Jared Veldheer RT 32 DEN TBD $7,000,000 UFA -
Bobby Massie RT 30 CHI TBD $6,000,000 UFA -
Seantrel Henderson RT 27 HOU TBD $4,000,000 UFA -
Benjamin Ijalana RT 30 NYJ TBD $2,500,000 UFA -
Ja'Wuan James RT 27 MIA TBD $2,107,100 UFA -
Brent Qvale RT 28 NYJ TBD $1,907,000 UFA -
Jordan Mills RT 28 BUF TBD $1,900,000 UFA -
Byron Bell RT 30 GB TBD $1,600,000 UFA -
LaAdrian Waddle RT 28 NE TBD $1,500,000 UFA -
Marshall Newhouse RT 30 CAR TBD $1,500,000 UFA -
Bobby Hart RT 25 CIN TBD $1,005,000 UFA -
Earl Watford RT 29 CLE TBD $950,000 UFA -
Austin Howard RT 32 WAS TBD $915,000 UFA -
Andre Smith RT 32 CIN TBD $915,000 UFA -
Joe Barksdale RT 30 ARI TBD $915,000 UFA -

A lot of GMs would love to find similar level production for a fraction of the cost....those are called draft choices....

We are most likely not going to find a guy as good as Massie right away in this years draft.

Why are people trying to shit on our offensive line when we are trying to make our young QB better.....I don't get this.....
