Idk I kinda liked the idea of trading him and Jordan Howard for a 4th. I think you were onto something there. Maybe then we could trade for Todd Gurley with that 4th

Try to restructure and if not, dump him. Almost no chance he plays a full season. -

Renegotiate or cut. No one is going to trade for him because they can pick him up off waivers.

Restructure or cut. I think Whitehair is ready to be the leader of this line.

I think they try to renegotiate. If not, probably cut. The line played o.k. with and without him.

I just wonder how we go about replacing him, when more than likely we are also replacing Massie at the same time.

Keep him, he has been a cornerstone of this team through all of the bad years. He knows his time in the league is limited. I’d like to see him retire a Bear. He still produces too.

They could retain Massie, lose Long, and move Coward inside.

Financially speaking that is a push.

If he can prove that he is currently healthy enough to play at a high level at some some point in the near future (not certain that will even be the case):
1) Restructure with games played bonuses.
2) Trade
3) Cut

If he can’t prove that health shortly, straight to options 2 then 3.

Hoping he gets healthy to play at a high level by next season is a bad plan. He was not healthy enough to play at a decent level in the 2nd half vs PHI.

Miracles do happen, look at Kevin white.

If your basis for keeping an overpaid underachieving player is a hope and a prayer he won't be injured for a fourth fucking year in a row...then you might just need to look at yourself and say "am I Special person?"
