Completely accidental, of course, as it always is when the Cards bean the opposition.

Yadi - the guy with stickum on his chestguard and the guy shoving umps, is going to tell the world how to respect the game.

The Cards used to tease the Cubs on the scoreboard during games. I had no problem with it, as it was just in fun. But they would do the ultralame "hidden ball under the hat" thing with three hats, and then do the Cub version, with one hat. Team-sponsored, mocking the fans who paid to be at the game. Nobody whined.

But now Yadi is here as baseball's spokesperson to tell us what is and is not allowed.

Fuck him.

The best part of this saga is Yadier Molina going red-ass to defend a fanbase that wouldn't hesitate to spit on him if he wasn't wearing a Cardinals uniform.
