It'd be cool. Three things I love: Baseball, Soccer, and Wrigley all combined into 1!

However, they had a hard time fitting in the college football field, though it looked OK and the Ricketts thought it would have been safe to use 1 end zone.

It's a good idea that will further increase the exposure of the MLS to the American public.

If only the Riot could play at the UC, seeing there horrible attendance.

They sure did. I went when the Fire played there last year, during a monsoon. They sat us all behind home plate, which is great seating...for a baseball game. They didn't even take down the netting behind home plate, which made things even worse. Not to mention the hilariously small field they play on there.

Of course, Wrigley Field isn't a minor league stadium, and the dimensions of a soccer field are flexible, so it is possible to play there without having a field the size that U-12 kids would play on. I'll go watch a game there (even if it is fucking Manchester United), but if not, I won't lose any sleep.

The winter classic was amazing there, but a soccer game there wouldn't even begin to compare to that.

Eh, it'd still be pretty cool, especially if you are a Cubs fan.

It's a good idea for the Cubs, but bad idea for the sport. Wrigley can't hold football and a soccer field is bigger. Just not practical and it can get people hurt or change the game.

If they put the field the way the Bears used to play, it wouldn't be a problem. They put the college football field the other way.

Celtic played Sporting Lisbon at Fenway last year too. I think it'd be sweet to see a game at Wrigley.

They could replace the walls behind home plate with removable ones like they did with part of one of the other walls and then run it from home plate to center field.

Fenway is about the size of Wrigley.
