What kind of apps/foods are you making for the big game???

Heard this on the radio yesterday and might try it:

  • Get loaves of frozen garlic bread
  • Split down the middle and line with provolone cheese
  • Bake until bread is done and cheeze is melted
  • Fill with seasoned ground beef
  • Top with shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Bake until cheese is melted
  • Top with giardinera
  • Slice into 1/4ths and eat like a grinder sandwich

I'm going to a SB party but no one has said what they are bringing.

This could be a disaster.

Nice.

We are doing chicken wings w/homemade blue cheese dressing. Have some guacamole/avocado dip of sorts, some other snacks. May end up smoking some ribs on the BGE. AM decision as it is just my wife and I. Wine will be involved.

I'm also going to try Dan Bernstein's chili recipe that he put out on twitter.

Slow cooking a chuck roast and some vegetables (onion, potatoes, celery, carrots, garlic, jalapeño, etc... for 8 hrs in the Ninja. Will add some wine to the broth before turning it into gravy.

I am trying to decide if I want to smoke some ribs or if I want to get all you can eat at Applebees and just sit there and pig out on riblets and shrimp for five hours.

The ribs are much better for my keto. I am leaning that direction. I am not even sure I want to watch the game though.

The goddess has deigned to make a gumbo in spite of the Saints collapse. Who am I to argue?

Grilled back ribs, dry rubbed and smoked with cherry chips. Kale salad (wife's choice). Fuck tons of Belgian beer.

I’m just getting a tray of hot wings from my restaurant. I’m doing half hot half pineapple honey with a side of blue cheese and ranch.
