Any word on how the operation went? He's got a bright future---assuming he can stay healthy.

Not sure about the surgery but I am expecting him to take a huuuuuge step next year. The Bears offense is going to need it.

If we had access to Wakandan tech, then Kevin White wouldn't have been so worthless!

Wrong Franchise. Wakanda is Marvel. White comes from the Shamaylan universe of heroes and is Mr. Glass.

I believe he is using some of that Wakandan tech that Bucky had.

Well Kevin White's is nothing like Bucky. His situation is more like when Buzz Lightyear had his arm separated at Sid's house during the tea party scene.

On Jan. 19, he said he’d get the surgery in “about three weeks,” and that it’d be a 4-5 month recovery.

I haven’t heard any updated news since.

Granted I don't know anything about the surgery, but that seems like a long recovery time?

My boy AntMill takes good care of himself. He'll be ready to go next season for his breakout year...provided Trubisky sees him open.

How long do you think it should take a shoulder to heal from surgery, enough so that they can absorb violent contact at a high level?

Sports medicine has driven so much innovation and continues to fund more research to get players back on the field ASAP. He'll be on the field the first moment a doctor clears him, whether that's 5 weeks or 5 months. Relax and let the doctors worry about if he's behind schedule

I had a labrum repair after having mine never seperate or pop out of socket. It ended up still requiring a 360 repair & 7 tie downs in there.

5-6 month minimum recovery on that. Have to let it reattach, but scar tissue locks it up real tight. Months of the most painful recovery to stretch and literally tear it looser day by day to eventually regain full ROM, then strength exercises. By far worse than getting a knee done from my experience.

That said, each is different, and if only a tear in one part of the joint, it shouldn't be as bad as mine.

He might miss some camp but will be back & killing it on field next season.
