Zion is totally worth 4 more years of GarPax. Theres no guarantee Jerry hires someone better anyway.

Zion and Lauri would make GarPax look better than what they are.

It almost seems like Pax does not want Zion, it sounds stupid but its pax.

Honestly, I expect Gar to be fired and Pax will get one or two more years before Michael finally dumps him.

Land Zion then in 4 years you lose him when he demands a trade to get away from garpax

This is a lose lose situation man

Zion has the kinda talent that it would be hard even for GarPax to mess up. Plus we'd have control of him for pretty much the first 8 years of his career. No brainer.

I'm not worried about them messing up the Zion pick... I'm worried they don't build around him lol.

Zion wouldn't re-sign here once he's good enough to carry a team.

that is why we are hoping they do something with a lockout so the shit stops happening. Make 40 million and still want to play with your friends. Either way, it took LeBron 10 years or so before he actually got friends in the league since he just destroyed whoever tried to guard him, so there is a chance Zion stays with some titles.

thats why ONLY allowing the drafting team to sign the super max with a guy will keep guys home. End this bullshit already and make it so eastern conference teams actually have to win 55 games to make the playoffs, not be under .500

You are only mad because none of the good players and their friends get together to play for us. If we had a legit team that hasn’t turned off the stars from coming here we would have had a super team also. But since Jordan we haven’t cause players inner circle paints a black cloud on this franchise

So, no free agents want to come here. We know that. That leaves building through the draft as the only realistic way. Say what you will about garpax, but they do draft rather well. Gimme that top pick

They have their ups and downs when it comes to the draft but have probably more ups. Not going to get 4 good rookies in one draft like you did back in 2004 though. Zion or bust it seems for most teams.

Hinrich, rose, deng, Noah, gordon, lauri, Butler and portis in the later part of the 1st round, niko, etc...they draft extremely well. You can bash them for everything else because it’s justified, but don’t act like they don’t draft very well or just above average.

They've done alright in the draft overall, can't really deny that. But their bad picks have been pretty dang bad.

Sure there’s been a few misses over the last 15 years. Find me an organization that doesn’t miss on at least a couple in that span. I’d argue they have been at least top 5 in drafting over the last 15 years. Probably higher than that even. Pax certainly has flaws, just don’t like seeing people not giving some cred when it’s due
