AAF finally added stats to their site!

Nice, can't wait to look at the IRON stats compared to the Express stats.

I'd honestly be interested to see if AAF ratings would go up with Kapernick.

Marvin Lewis is a bit awkward on camera.

Iron win 12-9 after being down 9-0. Biggest comeback in AAF history?

This team just keeps proving Grimson wrong.

The crown of his helmet popped the QB’s helmet off. It would have drawn a flag 100 times out of 100. Star QB and it would be a suspension.
In the view from the endzone it looked like the defender hit his shoulder pad up under the QB's helmet to pop it off. But that was last week... so I could be dead by now.

Yup. But an an NFL QB wouldn't be that unaware of someone approaching his blindside. The QB in that play didn't even look right once.
Technically, that wasn't his blindside (left side) it was his rightside, or otherwise, his throwing shoulder... which typically the QB sees what's coming from his right throwing shoulder.

I'd honestly be interested to see if AAF ratings would go up with Kapernick.
I'd watch Kap play in the AAF. At least one half anyway. :bowrofl:

As long as they are on TV they are good. If the ratings take a dive and TNT, CBSS, and the NFLN start dropping games, that would be death.

The wild card in all this is the XFL and if they get a TV deal with ABC/ESPN or Fox sports. I think they plan on playing in the spring like the AAF, if they go head to head they could both fail.

XFL would be disadvantaged doing anything other than a Spring League. I actually pondered a summer league until I realized baseball would fuck their ratings up, especially with FOX and ESPN making Saturday and Sunday their primetime national games.

Agreed, I know you're a wrestling guy but as successful as Vince McMahon has been I don't trust him to not fuck this up and leave us with no spring football. I want year round football, so either the AAF or the XFL has to survive, so either the AAF or the XFL has to fail. There is not a scenario where they both thrive, pick one.

I pick the AAF because even demented old Bill Polian is still better than Vince McMahon. Plus the AAF seems more willing to be an NFL developmental league, for players, coaches, executives, and staff, and that is a great thing.

TLDR; Fuck the XFL.

Unless the AAF fails before 2020, if that happens, GO XFL!
