Uh... how'd we get Ha-Ha so cheap (and why isn't anyone else asking this)?

Good teams get guys who will take less to up their value and get exposure.

Rapoport said that HHCD had a multi year deal for 6-7 million/year on the table from Washington.

So not more than Amos as some claimed.

I remember when Ringo Starr sang on Badge, and Clapton was the 4th best musician.

5th...if you count Harrison.

Maybe 6th if you count his courting of Patti Boyd at the time.

Good point. When Clapton was a guest musician for Harrison with the Traveling Wilburys, Clapton was more like 12th on the depth chart.

Exactly...does anyone really think Roy Orbison plays worse guitar?

I feel bad for all the other musicians in that clip...being forced to pretend that greatness is happening, like working on a Lou Reed album.

Are you referring to the 3rd best musician in Cream?

Sure, whatever you say. Just don’t see a basis for hate. I mean a quick google search https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Clapton , a very basic search would seem to indicate you all don’t know what the fuck you are talking about. Awful lot of awards, hundreds of millions of albums sold, played with some of the legends of roc (because they could) first person inducted in to R&R HoF 3 times. Yeah, I guess you are right. Heathens, savages, all of you! :flipa:

Peter agreed was pretty good for a while. Of course it took Buckingham-Nicks to take the group to the next level.

(Knowing I’ll get flamed)

Nicks & Buckingham brought them commercial success...they couldn't write a tune like Black Magic Woman or Oh Well though

Won’t disagree. LB and SN write a different style, more pop, if you will. Though, I saw the new version of FM and those two songs are back in rotation. Mike Campbell does a good job with those.
