Baker and Zambrano both injured.

Jeff Baker had to leave the game in the 8th due to losing all vision in his right eye.

Carlos Zambrano missed the game because he was sent to the hospital with abdominal pains.

Scary stuff, but maybe this means Zambrano to the DL and Gorzelanny stays in the rotation for a little longer. That gives the Cubs time to make their moves and figure out what to do.

Hopefully Baker's injury isn't major, because he gives us depth and average.

Hope Baker regains the sight in his eye, the Cubs need his versatility.

According to Buster Olney, Big Z is pain-free and out of the hospital.

I'm hoping Len and Bob mention how Baker's doing at some point today.

Baker had an "ocular migraine" and couldn't see for 45 minutes out of his right eye. He's better now and is available to play if needed.

It's similar to what DeRosa had when he played for us. He had surgery (minor) to fix it. But it appears as if Bakers is ok for now.
