Attaching a Poll.

They say they will call up one or the other to play in PIT. Looks like Cashner right now.

It is going to be Cashner according to sources close to the Cubs. But I pick Jackson because he has pitched out of the bullpen and Cashner reaaly should be starter not relief. The better question should be, who gets sent down?

Hopefully HR Howry or the great GraBlow (what a h0m0).

And Cashner is too valuable to screw up, not that Jackson isn't valuable too, but Cashner is our top pitching prospect.

Don't get me wrong, I would rather call-up Cashner but not for the bullpen.

I would have went with Jackson, he's doing just as well while spending the whole year in AAA at a year younger and is a pen arm whereas Cashner is in the rotation.

Neither should be coming up and neither should be in the bullpen, but Cashner will likely be called up. Both should be starting in the minors

Jackson is a reliever. He's major league ready, I'd wait a bit on Cashner though, like another month or so.

I agree. Jackson is ready. They need to put Cashner back in the rotation though. We are going to need him next year because I don't see Lilly coming back.

Jackson took the spot of Andrew Cashner in the starting rotation in Triple A.

:smh:
This organization is clueless on how to manage young arms. If they were gonna but Jackson back into the rotation, then why put him in the bullpen?

They don't even know how to manage a young arm on whether to put him in the pen or the rotation, in the minors.

They said they want to put Cashner in the pen to see if he can "pass the test" of being a reliever just incase he gets called up. Jackson already passed that stage they said when he went to the pen.

I want Cashner to start.
