I think you might want to spend a little more time on the stuff you write, even the game recaps. I noticed some spelling and punctuation errors right off the bat. Also, if I may, try not to use the same terms over and over again ("Sox", "player's name" [switch it up between first-last, him, etc]). Finally, don't be afraid to elaborate more on what was happening in the game; shorter sentences are easy to read, but they tend to make you sound amateurish when used too often.
