We lost to a guy who was 0-7. The Cubs: The Best Slump Busters.

He also has the 14th-worst K/BB ratio among qualified NL starters (59 pitchers qualified), 11th-worst WHIP and 16th-worst xFIP. He's not the worst, but he's pretty damn bad.

Thanks Lefty. That seriously sheds the light on this team. The dude is a horrible pitcher and he shut us down.

I loved how Len and Bob were making it seem like he was a Cy Young caliber pitcher last night though lol

I love how Len tippy toes around how bad the team really is. He always says how the Cubs are in a slump. NO THEY ARE NOT! That is who they are. Look at the Jim Hendry era... they've always been a bad offensive team (except for the 2008 season, that year they were the best). That '08 season was the exception, not the rule.

The 2007 team wasn't bad either. Nor the 2003 team. They just sucked in the playoffs.
