If you've been put off by the team in the last few weeks, tonight is probably as good as any to watch.

Carlos is coming back and it will at least be worth it to see how he handles it.

I'm worried about his velocity. It's been down all season, and I fear that Z's best days are already behind him.

yeah its pretty weird though, sometimes his emotion could be a good thing for the club, and sometimes not, saying that if he gets to emotional his control gets out of whack and starts sucking. but when he is pitching well and is emotional it energizes the team with energy.

but yeah, hopefully he can give us that boost that we need tonight.

Everybody is forgetting this KEY point....

The Cubs are getting Zambrano back into the rotation and that's fine but nobody is talking about the HUGE offensive power threat we get back into the lineup HAHA. Maybe he can bat clean up.

This just further illustrates the clown college that has been Chicago baseball this year. What happened to the "stretching out" of Big Z prior to his return to the rotation? His longest outing in his last 10 appearances has been 1.1 innings on May 21st.

I mean, if he doesn't need to be "stretched out" to return to the rotation, fine, but the reasoning behind his move to the pen (they wanted an increase in velocity) and the runaround given by the organization concerning his return to the rotation have all been laughable.

And considering he threw one simulated game on Monday which was only 73 pitches. My guess is he gets hurt tonight. Like I said, I'm not overly optimistic.
