Just something about them, I absolutely love. May be the religion, may be the tradition...may be the fact that I think they'll be a top 10 regular after this season.

Yup...loved what I saw in the 1st game. I think Russell Wilson may run that team to a Big 10 'ship this season.

But my #1 team...the team I'mma get gear for and watch every weekend......

Have you experienced Brother Dan yet? Or does he even come around anymore? Your EIU experience cannot be considered complete until you cut class and listen to Brother Dan all day.

Great choices! Like I pointed out earlier in the thread, I didn't have a favorite team either but I've decided to adopt...or at least babysit Notre Dame and Wisconsin as the teams I'd like to see succeed this season. Who knows if I'll ever become fully invested in a team but it's fun to cheer for something on Saturdays.

But as far as 2013, you can define it as a success or failure by whether we make the postseason, and ultimately whether we win the World Series.

Why don't you just root for the Yankees, the Patriots, and the Lakers as well. It's no fun to pick a major front-runner with a scumbag coach.

i just dont like bama..because saban is a douche and stabbed lsu in the back..plus they are rivals with LSU

if you had picked ND or another prestigious school as #1..then i wouldnt care as much(although you may be bandwagoning a bit..but you have the freedom of choice..so i dont criticize too much)

Brother Dan was a highly eccentric preacher who came around once a semester. 99.9% of the people who went to listen to him were there to heckle him. It was one of those things where you'd pack a picnic and make a day of it.

Been a Duke fan since I was little.

I find it strange how much humor you take in this.

I'm a Bulls fan, too. I was a Bulls fan in '03. When they were awful. But I suppose It would've been funny to you if you found out I was a Bulls fan in '97?
