Default I need to adopt a College Football team

I've never had a certain team that I've rooted for in college football. I'll pick one after the first 2 weeks of the season that I think has a good shot to win the 'ship, but other than that...no real allegiance.

    I want a team that wins a lot...call me fair-weather, that's fine...but meh...

I'm leaning towards OU, Texas, Florida, and Bama...

    I can be swayed, tho...

Why should I root for your team?

Warning, the following may be Not Safe For Work or a storyline spoiler.
Warning: If I choose your team, I'm going all in. Buying gear, try to get to a game, etc...choose wisely...this well affect the rest of my life

when I first start watching College football, I was also looking for a team, kinda. I liked Illinois... but yeah. I really liked Texas.

    Plus their logo is cool

I did root my ass off for Vince Young...still one of the great college championship games ever.

Nebraska, if you love tradition, the Nebraska Cornhuskers are a great option!

Honestly, if I were to pick basketball teams based on coaches, it would go
    Duke
    Mich St.
    Wisky...

But I know nothing about their football team...why should I be a fan? Aren't they getting a proven QB or something?

there's a really good chance that Texas will always be fighting for a title. People in Texas love football.. The longhorns are the most popular team in texas. [depends where you live I guess] The school wouldn't wanna let down all those fans.

if you wanna root for a winner, root for Texas

Are there games always TV? I also dont have a college team and would like to pick one. If they not on TV every week i wont get into them. I like the idea of picking a chicago school cause i follow all of Chicago's major sports.

They're on either ESPN 2 or the B1G Ten Network every week, except for the one or two non-conference road games against shitty schools that the B1G Ten Network doesn't have broadcasting rights for. It would be well worth your time to adopt them as your team.

If you're looking for a team that's always on TV and is close to Chicago, why not take a look at Notre Dame. Brian Kelly has the Irish set for a great year.

Notre Dame. Great tradition, classic helmets and uniforms, Touchdown Jesus and a resurgence under new coach Brian Kelly. Here come the Irish!

I said after Wies was named the HC that I was gonna start pulling for the Irish...but they made it too damn difficult...why are they going to be better?

they have the coach from cincy, he went undefeated before going to ND.....Wicsoncin has never really been a QB team, theyre are a tought defense team with a good run game, and they just got a good QB to transfer.

Longhorns.....its hard to talk title contention after last years terrible performance.

I am a northwestern fan personally. They are tons of fun to watch and going to games is amazing. They are an upset team, much like they upset ohio state and michigan(years they had Eddie George, Charles Woodson, Brian Griese.)

    Go with the Illini.

The State of Illinois' B1G team.

But seriously I'd go with Bama. Nick Saban is a winner, he's getting great players there, and he won a national title in his little amount of time there. Plus you get to say "Roll Tide" 24/7.

    Arizona.

We are a terrible football school. lol

However, we have a new scoreboard going up in our football stadium this year that is bigger than the floor of our basketball arena......

We also have the distinction of being the only team in the history of the Pac-10 to never make a rose bowl
