It's not to promising having to play the AFC east. I hate making predictions in football though. If Brett don't come back to Minnesota we should beat them both times this season. Hard to predict the Packers because both teams play good when they play each other. And the Lions...well that should be an easy two wins. Philly and the Skins is a toss up.

As much as I hate to say it, 8-8 is being optimistic, and I really hope I am wrong on that.

I'm going to say 8-8. Like Cubbieblue, I'm not comfortable with the AFC East on the schedule as that division (minus buffalo) is stacked.

The AFCE has some ballhawks in their secondaries. We are going to need some protection for Cutler, so he has time to survey the field. Normally i would wait until we get closer to the season so we can see what happens in the draft and the rest of FA but i'll give it a shot.

Im going to be optimistic and say 9-7. A Detroit sweep, a split with both the Fudge and Queens, wins against the Skins, Hawks, Panthers, Dolphins and Bills. My optimism is thinking that we can beat the Panthers Dolphins and Skins but I think either team can win in these matchups. We need to be healthy and we need to address the LG and FS positions.

Why do we have 2 threads about this? We should merge them

I'm not gonna go game by game and predict a win or loss because its futile. The Bears will go 8-8 or 9-7 IMO

Not having a 1st or 2nd rd pick will really hurt the Bears imo.

I think we have added enough pieces to compete this season but I'll wait until TC to make my predictions. If they dion't get their act together though we'll be dealing with a new staff next year.

An 0-16 season would be great. No way Lovie and Angelo would be back then
