Luka will stay on at least one more year, but if Spurs don't get a center back and a top shelf striker, it'll be another 6th place finish sort of season for them in the Premiership.

Gio is a good kid who likes to go clubbing too much. That may go over well in the Mexico team, but not at Spurs--especially when he couldn't even break into the first team. I liked him and hoped he would do better, but he never panned out.
As far as Luka is concerned, at this point accepting a bid would make no sense, even if Chelsea were to stump up the over 30 million pound Spurs are demanding. It isn't just the players actual value as a player, but the fact that they would be selling to a rival club in London, and then they would not have a replacement in time. This will get hashed out next season......if Spurs get Champions League for the following season based on this season's results, it could get VERY interesting.
