No, of the U.S. Open Cup, MLS Cup playoffs start later.. and we're on the outside looking in right now.

The U.S. Open Cup is a tournament of MLS teams as well as NASL, USL-Pro, etc. teams, basically open to any American Soccer team, that is several rounds of one-game playoffs.

It is regarded as one the top honors in the MLS though, along with the MLS Cup and Supporter's Shield.

Section 8 Chicago is sending 200 strong and we will be seen and felt by the team. I'm (sadly) going to miss while I'm over here (England)--but the guys will bring the hate for me and hopefully the Fire will bring home the cup....back to Chicago. Back where it belongs.

Ah, I see now. And I would root for NE under certain circumstances, like if they are playing a team 1 point behind us for a final playoff spot on the last game of the season some year.

The 2003 :fire: were one of only 3 MLS teams to ever win the final on the road, and they're gonna do it again!
